I began my journey into song craft. During this time I became interested in adding lyrics to guitar chord patterns and would strum and sing to family requests. "PLAY A SONG WE ALL KNOW"!
I did not enjoy playing other peoples music so I developed my own style over the following years.
My first engineer Chris did an excellent job of capturing my vocals and presenting a body of work for final re-mastering. Although the composition of thoughts and ideas had been captured they still needed some one to bring the true life out of each song. I met Terry in 2000 and we had some discussions about the composition of sound.
I invited him to my home to view what I was working with and the set up and his one only call was more bass.
He invited me over to his place he said pick what you like to hear which I wanted AC/DC and grinning like a Cheshire cat said to me let's go outside and have a listen to this. We went out to the street and stood on the gutter he said see how it just gets louder as he kept turning it up.
He said the music will never distort only the amplifiers or the speakers would because the music is recorded below distortion and all this whilst running at 120db plus through two Cerwin-Vega 1400 watt far away studio monitors. He said clear loud sound that is my passion I am sure you can hear it lol.
As Karma would have it we both moved house and lost contact but we moved into streets adjacent to each other so eventually we caught up again.
During the recording of this album, being a musician funds were tight so we ran out of recording time at either studio so we could not afford to add more instruments at this time.
I compose as each song dictates to me, adding or deleting depending whether I am recording vocals, electronica, sequencing or sampling.
Formed in 1998 the music is a combination of rock, electronica with effervescent insectoid guitars. Embellished with impact velocity global percussion with root note emphasis from the sub world layered with esoteric lyrics delivered in an understated vocal style.
